Thankfully the bad days are fewer and farther between for me. But I still have them- anger, disappointment, fear, sadness, the whole thing-- even now after 2 years. When I first found out, I read somewhere that it was going to take at least 2 years to get over this, if not longer. My first thought was I don't have 2 years to waste. I already wasted 16. (and I'm 55)

But here I am. And I am better. More than better in some ways, like I said, stronger. No one can hurt me like that again.

Having faith that there are people out there who have values, morals, and integrity keeps me sane. I do know a few-- they are out there--
