There's so much I could say. I'm usually the crank who says, "Quit babysitting her." Having said that I'll just say this - your fear of her going back to hetero will fade. I wouldn't go back with my ex now even if he was straight. That's because you don't realize the burdon, the weight, the absolute co-dependent doormat you've been. I am a firm believer that people ARE aware of their sexuality and fear takes everyone down. I hope you'll not make excuses for her and all women - that they are somehow more FLUID or Kinsey-Scale Slippery and thus deserve more wasted hours of time and money on therapy. You want to have a relationship with a heterosexual woman. She doesn't appear to be one. You can still be parents and friends but I'd find a way to get YOUR life into good working order that enables you to find a great partner. Many of us here wish we knew long before we did. My ex didn't cheat on me either but time and distance reveal to me he chipped away at my soul none the same. Step out of the closet too and be free and happy and find the love you deserve.
