Subject: I'd hope MOST babies were cuddled by their mothers!
In reply to: Abby 's message, "Re: They may look at it due to trauma...." on 14:52:44 01/15/16 Fri

although I didn't even mention cuddling.

I would assume that all babies who have a good experience with nursing would have positive, warm feelings revolving around being nourished, fulfilled and soothed. But maybe it presents no "imprinting" whatsoever.

I have no idea, really. It's all just my theory. And in a nutshell, I was simply saying that sexuality - in the ideal world - is laid down in layers, in a progress but easily-understood way. And that sexual abuse does something entirely different to us.

There is this photo online taken in 1948 of a young Jewish girl in 1948 that was living in a home for disturbed children. She had grown up in a concentration camp. When asked to draw a picture of "home" on the chalkboard, she draws a messy rat's next of circles - signifying that she has no real concept of where home is, much less what it looks like. When I think of human sexuality with regards to sexual abuse, that's exactly the kind of scratching on the plates that I'm speaking of.
