Subject: I think you kind of missed my point.....

My point was Not that the Earth could be flat, or that it hasn't been scientifically proven as being spherical. My point was that at one point in time, it was thought everywhere that it was flat. So much so that Galileo was brought up on charges of being a heratic for saying that the earth was round. Why? Because it was "known" at that time as being flat. That wasn't a fact, but people believed it anyway - until there was proof.

Being gay may well one day be proven to be inborn. The gay community (and increasingly, the general American population) seems to think that is the irrefutable, immutable truth. So much so that it's become "common knowledge" that is been proven. It.Has.NOT. There is scientific, proven knowledge about the X and Y chromosones - true. But there has been no proof that gay men have an XX chromosone set rather than an XY. THAT would have been proof. Knowing how science works for sex selection has about zero to do with scientifically proving that a gay gene has been discovered.

Gay could potentially be inborn - I'm not denying that. But until we prove something one way or the other, we can't say that it is or isn't inborn. Period.

Kel
