Omg, I have so been there. The tears, the begging God to just let me love him anyway and keep my life. That's all I wanted. I'm not going to lie, sometimes when I have to drive by my old house I wish so much that things had worked out. But...I know I would have been in danger and living a lie.

Of course you know you don't HAVE to do this. But if you stay you'll be living in hell. Once you get through it you will feel so much better. So much weight will be lifted. The one thing I had going for me was that we had already been down this road for years and been married for, idk, 7 years (I don't even remember anymore, I think 7 years) when I knew I had to leave. That gave me plenty of time for the honeymoon phase to wear off. I can't even imagine still being in that phase and having to leave and rip up your life.

Hang in there Cass - you know you deserve a better life. It's not your job to fix him. Push through and you'll get there.
