Thanks so much for taking to time to write all that. I REALLY need to hear that I can survive this. I met my GIDH at 20 and have been with him ever since. I put him through med school and it is SO EFFING UNFAIR that he will never have to worry about money (he and his bf have been spending GOBS of it lately), while I will struggle. Even with child support and alimony I'll be lucky to make 20% of what he does. That makes me madder than hell.
