I used to be a lurker on the Obits and Pieces board, but not anymore because according to the new mod Jeanne (taking over after the previous mod quit) lurkers are nobodies and don't deserve to lay their evil lurker eyes on the board. Plus, the daily "died this date" picture feature appears to be no more; that feature is the reason why I liked the board in the first place*. My interest in that board was evaporated now that it's gone so I'll be deleting it from my bookmarks.

*I e-mailed Jeanne about it and told her that I was a lurker (probably my fatal mistake) that liked the daily picture and would be disappointed if it stopped. She told me that it would come back when Kim came back from vacation and also revealed her distaste for lurkers. If she has such a hatred for people that are most likely too shy to join a place that is close-knit, I hate to know what she thinks of shy people in her daily life (probably doesn't associate with them since they're basically lurkers).
