In reply to: Fed Up 's message, "I have a question for the board administrator" on February 23, 2003 9:58:22 EDT

Whether it's a celebrity, someone who died in a nightclub fire, a hit-and-run you read about in your local paper, or whatever, postings on passings are allowed here. Discussions about their lives, their careers, all that is allowed. What's not allowed here is the callous disregard of human life - even in death - as I have seen on other boards. Say an actress dies, and from the post on her death the thread moves to a discussion of her work, the films she made, etc. That's fine. Comments about how she deserved to die because she was a bad actress or the wrong color or wrong nationality is not.

In the end, decency rules. Hope that answered your question.
