Diciamo che abbiamo evitato una seconda figuraccia... (Counties Manakua era la squadra più debole del tour).

Il reparto in crisi è, ovviamente, quello dei 3/4. JK sta facendo esperimenti ma si ritrova obiettivamente con una rosa limitata: fuori per precauzione D.Dallan, con gli U21 Berga II e Barbini, infortunati Canale G. e Dallan M., ritirati DD e Vaccari, a casa Pozzebon. In questa situazione l'inserimento di Berga I poteva essere prezioso specie in prospettiva RWC, ma purtroppo...
Molto bene invece gli avanti.

I prossimi test saranno più impegnativi. Incontremo 3 squadre di I divisione: Bay of Plenty è arrivata ultima in classifica nell'ultima stagione (ma con la penultima Southland abbiamo già perso 40-18...), Taranaki è finita 6a (su 10) e Waikato prima.
