Hi
I do not currently homeschool ,but have many friends who do .
One thing they have done is send their children to a local
school for certain subjects(like math and science or a special lit. course)and have taught the rest at home.
Check with your local school district and state laws.
In some states the school district is required to accept homeschool
children in to the classroom or on sports teams.
There are also many web sites that can teach your child
the courses you don't feel you can.
Remember it's okay to not know everything.
I often tell my children that -they are different from each other
and they will not necessarily know as much as each other in every subject, it's okay for one to be better at math or science than the other. Each of us has different strenghts
and ablities.
My children know that I am not good at math and spelling.
That they need to ask their father or older sister if they need help in those subjects.
Relax and enjoy your children ,it's okay to let someone else
teach them too.
Happy Learning-
Martha
