Ok, so I'm new to homeschooling. I have a 4 year old who is more than ready & we are starting on the Saxon K math. I am trying not to purchase the manipulatives & instead just purchase individuals that are needed. This afternoon I was setting up a space with all the materials so that everything would be prepared when we start & I just can't figure out what the difference between the pattern blocks & the tangram set. Could someone please enlighten me. :) thank you.
