I am thrilled to announce that the "Homeschoolers for Bush 2004" free unit study has officially started!

There you will find the lesson plans that provide your family with activities you can do at any time throughout the next five weeks. On top of that, weekly activities coordinate with the theme of the week. In addition, Worksheets are there for those of you who want them. And, there's an overall Score Sheet so you can easily track which activities you've done, which you want to do, and how many points each of your students has earned. As a convenience, you can buy merchandise with "Homeschoolers for Bush '04" on it instead of making your own (the minimal proceeds go to paying for the web site). And, there are comments and photos from those who participated in the study last campaign.
Even though we don't know yet whether or not we'll get letters of appreciation from the President’s office like we did last time, this is still such a useful study that the reward comes simply in the learning AND fun that you and your kids will experience.
For those of you who are new to the program – let me assure you that most of us who did it before had NO prior interest in politics. We just did it as an easy, pre-planned way to help our kids see what the presidential campaign was all about. Surprisingly, we found that we learned more than they did. More importantly, we enjoyed it!
