Hi Linda, it's been a while since I was here! Thanks for your answer. She enjoys the American Girl books, The Borrowers, The Chronicles of Narnia. She just doesn't choose to read, she would do anything else first unless it's reading with me. Together we are reading a missionary story which she is "eating up". We take turns reading aloud. The reason for my question is because the PS last year said she was 1 or 2 years behind, that she reads at 1/2 the speed she should. I believe I asked the question before I had fully decided to homeschool again, and now here we are halfway through the year. We are enjoying it very much and I hope she is progressing. I guess I was just wondering if there's anything more I should do than have her reading every day. Funny, when I check her comprehension she does great (aloud) but on ITBS tests she scored low. What gives? Appreciate your help! Thanks again! Christy
