Oh ABSOLUTELY! You can draw pictures of the lizard, you can read about what they eat, where they live in the wild, you can read about when they started becoming pets, who discovered them, etc. You can do something on nutrition and also the difference between cold blooded and warm blooded animals. These are just a few ideas off the top of my head right this second. There a several studies out there on pets. You can take the pet approach, or you can take a scientific approach (reptiles, etc.) or a combination of both. Pet care involves feeding (nutrition), cleaning the cage and determining what would be the best cage for him (environmental issues), etc. The scientific approach would include more of the differences between different animals, etc. The options are wide open!!!!
