Crested are know to be picky about who they like. Try having you son keep Yoda in his bedroom at night and maybe even sleep on the bed with him. The more they are together the more likely with will bond. Our little girl was so shy at first neither my husband or myself could even walk up to her and pet her. It did take about 1 1/2 to 2 years for her to be comfortable with us. She is the joy we were expecting so have a lot of patience and work with her a lot. Have him be with her as much as he can. It just takes time. Good luck
