Shave her down into a HL cut, then a few days after the trim down give her a bath and use a scrub made of equal parts olive oil (or almond oil) and white or brown sugar. Use the scrub paying special attention to the problem area. Rinse off the scrub and while still warm from the rinse, many times you can just gently run your fingernail across the areas and many of the blackheads will be right at the surface, or use a washcloth or facial sponge instead of your nail. Follow up with a bath in Keratolux shampoo for the antibacterial agents and to remove the excess oil so the pores don't clog. Following the bath use a cotton pad and wipe down with a 50/50 mixture of Listerine mouthwash (the original, NOT the flavored) and witch hazel. With repeated use those blackheads will be a thing of the past. The Keratolux can be a bit drying to the skin (depends on the dog) so if you notice the skin is dry, make sure you use a product sensitive skin products like Aveeno, Lubriderm, Curel, Oil of Olay, etc. in other words, a product that will not clog the pores. Make sure there is no lanolin in anything you use.
