Had a bad day Saturday. My pup, Spikey the little shark ate a beef bone, (I know, they are bad, I'm an idiot, I'll never do it again) got a huge piece stuck in his esophagus and he had to have surgery to remove it. I almost lost my baby.

The vet said no more bones ever, not even bullys or hooves, only rubber "kong" like toys to chew on. The problem with Spike is he doesn't like to chew on rubber toys. He has a huge chew habit(?) and gets upset if he can't do it. He's been looking for his hidden chew toys. Is there something I can give him that is safe? I always thought bully bones were good because he is small, and NEVER chews off pieces. The vet also said I could give him greenies, which I know are horrible. So.......what would be good? Anyone have any ideas for me?
