I feed a combination of dry mixed with some moist in the evening and during the day they have just dry in the bowl. I use Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul and Merrick canned foods. I have also used Merrick's dry food but my three don't really like it. Be careful of foods containing corn or corn by products as the Crestie's tend to have allergies to corn.
As for the climates - Meredith is correct. True hairless need sunscreens when they are in the sun and mine weat t-shirts or light weight all over body suits. In the winter mine wear fleece or flannel jammies (again all over body suits) and in really bitter cold temps. with a great deal of ice and snow my Cresties wear snow boots.
It does sound like they are high maintenance but the love they give will far outweigh all the care they require! They are truly smart little Velcro babies!
