I have a two part question and would like to thank anyone for answering in advance. In October of last year I was lucky enough to adopt a 2 year old CCPP. Her foster mommy had told me that she had came from a puppy mill in LA that was devestated by Hurriane Katrina. Myself and my family decided that we were up to the challenges that Daisy may have. She didn't move off the couch for two weeks she was so scared of her new environment but has seens blossomed into the lap dog that I had always wanted. She is right by my side 24/7 and wants lots kisses and loves you would never know her past. The problem seems to be that she only likes me and is scared to death of others. My husband and son want so bad to be her friend but she just doesn't seem to be warming up to them at all. I just wondered if anyone had advise for me on how to approach this should they just kind of ignore her and let her find her way to them in her own time, or should I hand the dog to them so they can pet her occassionally. We want to do what will make Daisy most happy with our family and are not very experienced. Also would obedience classes help us and is the timing right for them.
Thanks so much in advance for sharing your experience with us,
Jean England
