We have a beautiful 4 or 5 year old (rescue) HHCC who has a malocclusion. One of her lower tusks is at all times exposed and has been slowly turning a darker yellow. We keep up with her dental cleaning at the vet, brush at home - not her favorite activity! - and she has a well balanced home prepared diet and daily crunchy treats. We also add a liquid dental drop that was recommended by the vet to the water bowl. The rest of her teeth are doing well...
Is there anything else you could suggest that we could do to keep this exposed tusk as healthy as possible? I suspect it is too dry. Thanks!
