I thought I did that but maybe not in that order. Two questions though:
1. To uninstall the DVD MPEG do I go to device manager
-->Sound, video and game controllers-->and remove the DVD module found there?
2. Are my video drivers found on d:\\video or d:\\VGA (my CD is d:\\).
I somehow managed to load and unload stuff so much last night that the mmsystem error went away but now the picture moves from frame to frame slowly and choppy. So I was hoping to try it all again and at least get it back to where it was.
