Subject: Vibrant Modem problem

My modem quit working for a second time. The first time, Transmonde tech support had me change a setting -- in CMOS I believe. It's been a long time though, and now I can't remember how to fix it. The laptop still sees the modem, but is unable to get a dial tone. Anybody have an idea?
