  ISAP helps newcomers gain access to community services to meet their immediate needs.
  
  Under ISAP, immigrant-serving organizations can:
  
  * refer you to economic, social, health, cultural, educational and recreational services;
  * give you s on banking, shopping, managing a household and other everyday tasks;
  * provide interpreters or translators, if you need them;
  * provide non-therapeutic counselling; and
  * help you prepare a professional-looking résumé and learn job-searching skills.
  
  The Immigrant Settlement and Adaptation Program (ISAP), a federal government program, pays for these services.
  
  A list of immigrant-serving organizations across Canada can be found on the Internet

  Your local immigrant-serving organization can direct you to a LINC Assessment Centre, which will then refer you to organizations offering LINC classes. You can also refer to the book Welcome to Canada: What You Should Know to find a LINC Assessment Centre in your area.
  
  Manitoba, British Columbia and Quebec have programs similar to LINC, the Host program and ISAP, but they may have slightly different names.

• Anonymous SMS with 9110 -- ADMINISTATOR, 15:56:44 09/07/02 Sat (NoHost/62.98.222.230)
  I found a program Text2gsm, which is able to send SMS,
  modifying the SENDER number, so you can specify ANY
  number for the sender; this mean that you can send
  anonynous SMS, or SMS from different numbers...
  If a PC program can do it, why shouldn't it be able
  a 9110 program? Text2Gsm just sends the messages to
  a SMSC, which then develops it.
  It's quite tricky... >:-)

  Do you think it could be possible to write a program for 9110 which can handle MultiMediaMessaging? MMS are sent via GPRS (I think), but probably they could also be sent via GSM, although veeery slowly... Or not?

  There's a lot of interesting new applications we could write for our Communicators. Here is a list of simplest one:
  
  A chronometer, in place of the "simple" clock
  A date indication in the main display
  Some card games
  A dictionary program including several languages
  
  I also think that the 9110 is quick enough to be able to run any kind of "oldware" we could see on the old Commodore 64: pacman, donkey kong, quix, and so on... We only lack who write them down!
