Subject: ? on Price of Pups

I have been doing my research on the boerboel's and have decided that's what I want. I would like to purchase 2 pups by August. My question is on the price range of Boerboel's. I have seen them priced from $600-$800 on up to $1200-$1500 Do you get a better quality dog if you pay the higher price?? I'm not interested in breeding, but I do want good quality dogs. Any helpful comments about price and good breeders to purchase from would be appreciated. Thank You.
