One of my problems with many SA breeders is that they breed their bitch pups on their first heat. Prolapse is a MAJOR problem in the breed and it often does not show up till the second heat. If either of these bitches develops prolapse next time they will each have pups on the ground from their first litters that are going to spread it. Of course with these particular litters we don't know if the bitches will prolapse next heat or if they will be fine. but that is the problem, we don't know.
If the South African breeders are interested in improving their breed they have to start being a little more careful in their breeding practices and not quite so greedy to get saleable pups out of a bitch just as soon as they can.
