Subject: Boerboel Rescue ?

I have been reading a lot about the Boerboel since my beloved Great Pyrenees died of cancer. I would like to have another large dog some time soon. The Boerboel sounds like the dog I would love to add to my family. He looks perfect and the character discriptions I've found are just wonderful. He sounds perfect. Is it possible to get a rescued/misplaced dog? Does anyone have info on that?
