Wow it just goes to show you that we all experience very different things. I had some neighbors with GD's and they were the friendliest dogs I new (especially for their size) they hung out and every now and then would break out of their yard (surrounded by a huge 3' fence) to come visit us kids next door. I never so much as heard them bark at ANYTHING... They no doubt commanded attention whether barking or not...but I think they'd probably help a robber out with the stuff instead of eating him...

Odd how it differs so much... I'm sure it has to do with the watering down of the breed by some breeders while others still want to preserve working qualities... Hmmmm...
