Basil,

Just wanted to say congrats on doing your research and being honest with yourself about what you want from your next dog. Whether you choose a BB or not, you'll have made an informed decision which makes you a GOOD dog-owner.

For the record, I have an adult male BB who I take most places, he's fine with people, crowds, etc but he is protective and doesn't bluff so one needs to watch out for idiots.

He's good with small dogs and bitches but won't turn down a challenge from another male. We've put a lot of work into socialisation and he's very stable by nature. He thrives on work.
