Well I'm sorry if you feel it's dangerous to put the two in the same sentence but it's true... I've met plenty of
BB's that are aggressive (to standard--meaning as the standard reports them to be) and that's something new owners need to know...

If someone chooses to own the breed because it's "aggressive" that's the problem of the breeders etc.

I'm an APBT lover etc... and the breed has NEVER been considered a guarding breed and is ONLY dog aggressive (very much not the same as human aggressive) but regardless of how many people state this and insist on it...they are being sold and bred and bought up by people thinking they will look tough and have an aggressive dog to protect them or their stash... It doesn't matter what we say about the breed...the people out there who want and do damage to breeds like the APBT have probably already caught wind of the BB and has begun doing their dirty work.

New BB owners need to know that BB's can be aggressive (the standard states it) and will most likely be territorial and will most likely guard... Aggressive behavior does not mean out of control either...

Your comments scare me to think that you are a breeder of these guys... You seem to be afraid to let people know what they really are...or afraid to see for yourself what they really are... They are a guardian breed and will guard...they are not vicious attackers but docile family members who WILL have a bone to pick with an un-invited intruder etc... or who MAY/WILL have a bone to pick with the neighbors Lab.

They're much like Great Pyrs without fur...only difference is that they CAN be dog aggressive...and THAT'S stuff new BB owners and people looking into the breed NEED to know...BB's will most likely be dog aggressive...if not then great...but don't dilute the realities and be as fourthcoming with knowledge as you can...

I'm assuming you are a pet/appraisal/show breeder. The BB is a working dog...they were bred to do a job and have the temperment to match... they SHOULD have the temperment to match.
