Subject: Boerboel Housebreaking

I am new to owning a Boerboel but have owned three Ridgebacks and a Mastiff but am having a bit of difficulty with our almost six month old female and housebreaking. She is bright, energetic, perfect health, etc. but for some reason does not seem to "get it" and will use the liviing room when/if left alone. Using all the old training tricks which have not failed me in the past. Any suggestions or thoughts other than a diaper? Thank you, Ken.....
