NABC Event in Chicago area !!

Greetings all,

The North American Boerboel Club (NABC) is interested in planning an event in the Chicago area for this coming spring.

Dan G. has graciously agreed to host such an event and provide the local logistical support. Of course to plan this meet, we have to measure if, and how many dogs/handlers/spectators we would need to accommodate. We would need a certain measure of participation before we place this strain on poor Dan... :)

We would like to know how many people have dogs ready to test and exhibit, and how many people would just like to come out and see some Boerboels being exhibited for movement, obedience, and temperament/suitability for work. We will also provide an outside source of temperament testing such as ATTS, CGC, etc. if enough owners/exhibitors are interested.

Just a reminder, this is a Boerboel only event. Boerboels from any registry are welcome, visitors are always welcome, but only NABC members dogs are allowed on the grounds for exhibiting/testing.
There will be a conformation exhibit, a basic agility/movement test, obedience test, and a willingness to protect test for those dogs previously exposed to such training. You can enter your dog in any or all portions of the test.

We always like to hold a puppy class for conformation and puppy obedience for those with young Boerboels.(12 months and under) This is always fun, and a good exercise for exposing pups to the sights and sounds of a dog-event.
