ok, lets answer your questions the best way I can.
How old am I?
I am 22 nearly 23
When did I become a John Thaw fan?
I was 13 years old, being bullied at school and my step father sat me down to watch Inspector Morse The Wench is dead when it was first shown on ITV back in 1998. My step dad wanted to cheer me up, and it worked, however I was more busy watching John than the show! He was just simply a brilliant actor.
Did I know he would be an actor I would be interested in for life?
Erm, no, like most teenagers most of my family and myself thought it was just a phase I was going through. however it was when I started collectiing Newspaper articles, magazines, and anything I could get my hands on that I knew it was more than a Phase, Ten years on I have more things on John than I would like to think about. I am also a passionate Sheila Hancock fan, which came from seeing her in something in early 2000, I didn't even know she was married to John, since then I've had the pleasure of getting to know Sheila and I'm so glad I have. She is remarkable, and John seems to pop us in all our conversations at some point! I am glad that I am a John Thaw fan because I've made friends on the forum that I wouldn't have meet anotherwise.
How has been the John Thaw fan the Longest?
Well not me! he,he. I'm too young. I missed most of John's career. I've caught up with watching videos and DVD's but sadly I was born too late (1985). I think it might be Janet, on this forum, She's been a fan since 1973 (if my memory is right that is, I'm sure she will tell me if i am wrong)
