I associate Anthony M so much with Morse. In fact he was the writer of the very first Morse to hit the British television screens - Dead of Jericho' - the episode which made 'Morse' such an instant success.
According to IMDB movie database he also wrote 'Deceived by Flight' and 'Driven to Distraction' (Janet I'm sure you can verify this). Apart from all his other great movies, what a wonderful gift he gave to the world with his contributions to Morse.
I was particularly shocked at his death because I didn't think he was an old man. But I didn't realise just how young he was. Why oh why does everybody seem to be dying younger these days (or am I just getting older)?
Thanks very much Leila too for that comprehensive report on Anthony M. Although I see the media reports are not comprehensive enough to mention Morse. Anyway the main thing is that another good person is gone.
