I've just got back from five days London. (my hubby had an international conference there.) it was GREAT being in London again. I love this city! we've had such a fantastic time; staying on the 26th floor of the hilton overlooking london, wauw, having a ride in the london eye with champaign (very posh) and dining every day at the most special places, like the dinosaur hall at the museum of natural history and the ironmongers hall (not so good for my weight! probably need a diet right now...).
well, the london collegues did a fantastic job.
we we're spoiled rotten!
on my first free time I've rushed to the first bookstore to buy Sheila's book. stupidly enough: because a day later I discovered a bookshop selling signed copies! aarrgh!
I've had to restrain myself from buying another one...
now, back home, I regret it a little.
well, most important thing is, that I've got the book; signed or not! I've already started reading and it's just like I'd expected: wonderful.
my back survived the trip as well; I was a little worried as the operation has been only three weeks ago.
now I'm going to try to catch my kids, and we're off to the forrest behind our house for an autumn-walk.
