MFR, i understand they are closing Leeds studios so who is going to produce Emmerdale, bit far for us (Manchester) to do it, i would have thought, but i guess it's possible.

I really don't know why they merged the local stations into one because Granada (ours) made some of the best drama in the world, now i never know what they are making.

I guess we will have to wait and see the outcome of this, like you say it's a shame for the staff who are suffering losing their jobs etc.

Times are changing and not for the better in television land, i guess even if John was still here we might not garentee getting his work even with him being as popular as he was.
