Subject: Let's Have Some Pride

I have visited some of the other PL message boards and I must tell you that there is a lot more interest in the other teams. We have nothing to be ashamed about. Let's get behind American University basketball!!!

I agree, but it's kinda hard to talk to yourself.

josh h, i'll talk with you.

you jinxed us by predicting an HC victory this weekend on the main board. i also blame you for the colgate loss, as the jinx went through the weekend. ok, maybe it's just bad luck (or officiating in the case of the HC game).

in other news, how much does it suck that the PL tournament games are ALL during our spring break?! i already made plans when i realized that they were. this means the AU home-field advantage all the other teams complain about will be pretty negligable.

item #3: tom george is a cool guy, i spoke to him about stuff at the HC game. he says jeff jones is likely to stick out his contract, since he is happy and likes his job here. i hope he does, this guy is the best thing to come to this school since kermit.

item #4: where do i and my buddies pick up our "fans of the year" award for driving to worchester this weekend?

I was going to change my plans for Spring Break and try to boot home a winner, but I think HC may have our number now. We may be quicker and more athletic (except for Mead) but their goons are too much to handle. I'm not giving up, but I'm hoping they play Lehigh and fall lax on perimeter defense as they sometimes do. So, it's on to South Padre for me--with my fingers crossed for the Eagles.

No chance Leo. AU is gonna get spanked this weekend and won't even make it back up to HC. Maybe then you guys will wake up and realize what a pathetic hoops team you have. ALMOST only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades ladies. Bottom line is you guys are a .500 team looking WAY, WAY up at the Crusaders. Maybe we'll give a shout out to the PL when we win our first round game in the NCAA tourney. Peace fools.
