Date Posted: 08:49:51 01/27/03 Mon In reply to: Art 's message, "Any 1280-X user around?" on 14:36:05 12/10/02 Tue dear david, hello, my name is lou...i used to have a 1280x which i used on the beaches of margarita island in venezuela..it was a good machine until it broke down...first the knobs froze in place then the detector started failing after 30 minutes of underwater use and it finally died...while it worked it was very good at finding gold rings.. also clad coins and pulltabs by the ton.. i am planning to buy a tesoro sand shark soon... well, i am planning a vacation to the florida keys i want to explore matacumbe key and treasure island sea shores...are there any rules or laws on beach combing those places?.. i would appreciate any info. or referal you could give me on the subject...lou and thanks [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
