It doesn't matter how deep the water is , what matters is
the action of the water in relationship to the sand .
Ruff action can either bury an item really deep or
uncover an item by removing sand and pulling it out to sea.
Also there is no such thing as an item being "unreachable
for ever" .
When sand is drawn out by heavy wave action,
the lost item can only sink to the rock and clay level, and
can sink no further.
At that time (little sand, more rocks) is when you can find
the items you seek .
