Finally got the stuff cleaned up and an image of it to post. Hey, all the best to Scott (Maine) for some great detecting hospitality while I was there. Had the best time....

Here is what I found searching some of those 1750s Maine cellar holes. Note - this is the fruit of about 40 to 50 hours of some hardcore detecting. It was well worth it.

Some of the iron finds I decided to keep... This is neat hand forged stuff. I wire brushed them and then used Loctite Extend on them. The ax head is early to mid 1800s and the chisel from a 1700s. Those are my favorites

Then for the other goodies...

1755 King George II in good condition, 1845 Large Cent with a full liberty, 1855 Large Cent in fine, several wheats, 2 rough indians, Several buttons including flat, concave with floral design, zuave, a homemade lead button and others, some melted lead, fired musket ball, copper / brass sheeting, brass decorated cap of some sort, thick round lead ingot with hole punched with square nail (looks like it was worn), bronze square nails...

Check out the Colonial Bridge and road... It was a trip back in time. Really cool. Many miles of hiking.
