Jumping in. If no one else is doing this week I'll fill in. I love Young Ian, he is the best of Jenny and Auld Ian, with a good dose of Jamie mixed in. These are just some random quotes.....

........"Was she...deformed in any way?"

"No," he said at last, and there was both pain and relief in his voice. "No, I asked. Emily didna want to talk about her, about Iseabail---that's what I would ha named her, Iseabail---" he explained, "but I asked and wouldna stop until she told me what the baby looked like."

"She was perfect," he said softly, looking down at the bridge, where a chain of lanterns glowed, reflected in the water. "Perfect."

So had Faith been. Perfect.


There is so much in this snippet, so many "Echoes" from Jamie and Claire's life. Powerful.
