when I was in my late teens friends of mine lived in an old American farm house in Churchville, MD There was no doubt for all of us that this house was haunted and from doing some research we believed that it was by the family that built the home and that they were friendly. One day in the middle of the afternoon my friend and I went to the attic where many of the families belonging still were we decided we were going to try and communicate. We approached the top of the steps and I announced ourselves stating that we wanted to communicate and I clearly heard a woman's voice and looked at my friend who by the look on his face I knew had heard the same thing, it was too much for us so we ran down the steps and then discussed it, and we had both heard the same thing, it was a woman's voice very clear, but what she was saying was distorted and made no sense. I would love to know from those inn the know if this is normal, or from anyone else who may have ever had a similar experience.
