I think as they get more realistic it's certainly a problem. There are joysticks that jiggle and stuff, who knows what they'll do in the future. And they've been using these plastic guns to shoot things on the screen for years. The other thing is if you go to an arcade they have things like motorcycles to sit on, and that can get sort of realistic. I wouldn't want to be around someone who's been playing one of those games and then 5 minutes later gets in the car and drives somewhere. But some games, (more on the computer?) like Sim City aren't violent at all, and you can actually learn things from them.


While movies are guilty sometimes of everything T.V. is, like stereotypes, their bills aren't paid solely by advertising, I think that means they're less limited in what they do, and they have less of the wrong things influencing the nature of the movie. And there are foreign films and independent films that I think are just fine.
