Subject: Need saddle tree repair advice

Hi. I am looking for advice/instruction in english saddle tree repair--both regular wooden and fiberglass. Is this something that can be done or is it better left to professionals? My husband can fiberglass, so I wondered if he could fix this for me. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks for the help!!!
