Subject: My dad won't let me get a horse!!!!

My name is Kayla and my dad WILL NOT let me get a horse because of the danger and I know a horse can be dangerous, but I work in a stables I am around them almost every single day so please someone how can I convince him to let me buy a horse?He also tries to tell me about when his dad fell of a horse and it just about killed him I mean I know that can happen but his dad has been known to lie so please if there is anyone out there please i need some advice!
