I don't think starting a horse at the age of two is to early. Race horses are already on the track at that age. Of course, I don't suggest jumping until they are Five. Also, no hard riding, because some horses are not mentally prepared for it at that age.

I think the problem with this horse might be inherited. I've heard stories about quarter horses with problems like this, if it's what I think it is. I think it runs in Impressive's bloodline. That's why there is a newer Quarter Horse Registry that won't take any horse with Impressive bloodlines, they don't want their breed to have this problem. Check her pedigree.
