Subject: Might need a DVD player for meeting

Greetings,

The only DVD player I have is in my Laptop. I might be able to hook it up to my TV, but Iíve never actually tried.

When Anne and I watch a DVD we just put the laptop on the coffee table and watch from the couch. That might work for the two of us, but might be a bit cramped for the whole group.

My laptop appears to have a S-Video and Firewire ports, but my TV and VCR are so old that they donít.

If anyone has any converter cables, Iíd be willing to try those.

Otherwise Iíll need someone to bring a DVD player with old style output ports or weíll need to play one of the stories on VCR tape. (Kicking it Dr. Who old style.)

Thanks,

James T. Savidge, Thursday, April 13, 2006
