Possible new excerpt -- Andrea Clark, 16:57:30 03/17/09 Tue
You're welcome - not sure if that was new or not - it didn't ring a bell to me altho if I recall correctly she posted an excerpt where Bree is wearing the hard hat for the new job which is why this might have sounded familiar. Anyhow keep your eyes peeled on that thread b/c in her last posting she mentions trying to find another example for an individual with some shifting of tenses so it sounds like she might post another example(s).

Andrea, I, too, think it's new, but had the sense of familiarity because of the previously posted excerpt where Bree is starting the job. BTW, to post the link, all you have to do is copy the url, then paste it in the "Type your message Here" space. It automatically creates the link. This info is thanks to Vicki, who helped me the same way just last week. And, if I can do it, anyone can!! -- Terri C, 15:23:34 03/19/09 Thu

I can't blame her for wanting to take a job when they're in that sort of situation, and Roger is lame for not realizing that, but she could have broken it to him better. Didn't they talk about it first? -- sharon fisher, 19:54:36 03/23/09 Mon

Och well remember Roger grew up in the middle classes of the 50s and 60s and it was a fairly new concept, wives going out to work then. By the time I got married in 1969 it was accepted as the done thing mostly. Out here in Australia though women had to leave the teaching profession and some others if they got married! Quaint! Led to rumours about one of my kid's teachers , Miss Paterson, being the news of the school as being pregnant but luckily it turned out she'd been married to Mr Soanso for quite a while! LOL Some years in fact! -- Lolkate, 08:48:16 03/27/09 Fri
