Subject: Help-Lost Excerpt

A couple of years ago I read an excerpt on DG's page and I want to know if anyone has read it as well. I can't seem to find it again. It hasn't been included in any of the current books. **Spoiler** Jamie and Claire are in prison. William breaks in to spring Claire, his stepmother, out. Claire begs William to get Jamie out, but he refuses so she tells William that Jamie is his father. Jamie vows to never forgive her. I know I read this and I'm wondering if it's a story line that no longer exists. I figured if anyone would know it would be the Ladies!

Here is the link. You can navigate just like the original website.

[> [> [> Carmen, tried the link again and it worked, maybe just too much traffic earlier. If you notice the date this excerpt is 10 years old, I think DG has just played with the plot lines since this idea, I don't think we'll see it. -- Jayn, 21:18:41 10/23/09 Fri

Jayn,
I read the excerpts and liked them. Perhaps, Dianas' writing style has changed in 10 years.

This is a treasure trove, I probably never would have found it on my own.

The story line is changed, not abandoned. Keep reading Echo

i just read the "Sons of Liberty" excerpt and actually liked the prison scene and John Greys' proposal better than "Echoes" version. What did you think of it?

[> [> I'M with you, Susan. But then, I only read Echo once. Yet. These are the kind of books you have to read more often to fully admire the plotweaving and get all the hinds -- Carmen, 03:09:42 11/13/09 Fri

[> I've been wondering about that very one too! So thanks for enquiring. I just assumed it would turn up sooner or later. *vbg* -- Lolkate, 04:44:30 11/13/09 Fri
