Subject: Yes, my only disappointments were these iconic lines and scenes not brought to life. There were several. I also though Rupert and Angus barging into the room was silly. However, I've been trying really hard to separate the book from the the series and enjoy it for what it is....and I did this show. What I'm interested ion are the reasons they deviate from some things.

[> [> [> [> [> I know...but she would have already read it on the marriage contract when she was reading it tin the prior episode. I'm fairly sure you can see his full name written out on the sheet of paper. -- Conmama, 08:47:33 09/21/14 Sun

[> [> [> [> [> [> Yes, not very clever, having his name so visible on screen in that scene. I'm la-la-la-ing that, and stating to myself Claire was so distraught at having to marry she simply stared at the paper without reading it. That's my theory, and I'm sticking with it :) -- Rita (aka FW), 08:53:35 09/21/14 Sun

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> Yep, staring, not really reading when Jamie approached her, then probably too drunk after stalking off with the bottle to really read it later. *G* -- LadyJay, 12:47:44 09/21/14 Sun
