hahaha..

I have always been wondering why WY hasn't produced as many 10As as some other schools over the years. The answer sprang to me after reading your post.

If we allow our WY boys to take some other subject in the place of Religious study, may be we will get a lot more 10As.

You analysis makes sense but it is also an interesting proposition. For all those 10'As out there in QC and DGS, do they take RS as one of their 10 subjects ? If so it means while they can get an A , a Jesuit School student somehow fares worse in this subject ? Fr Daly wouldn't be happy about that !

Anyhow, for years I have never been excited about 10 A's but rather the overall performance. According to these years stat. I am rather happier than finding a 10 A student amongst ourselves. If half our F.5 boys managed eg 4xA + 3xB + 3xC , I would then truly think Wah Yan is a super school and successfully turn out sound academically taught young men. At the same time I would also like to see these smae young men well minded and sensible. That is what we have always prided Wah yan boys over a few other "rivals" so to speak.
